The NDMC Participates in Organizing The "Capital Markets & Credit Outlook" Seminar

​​​The Ministry of Finance announces that it has closed the fifth domestic Sukuk issuance under the Saudi Arabian Government SAR-denominated Sukuk Program. The issuance size was set at SAR 5.85 Billion.

The Sukuk issuances were divided into three tranches as follows:

    -  The first tranche has a size of SAR 4.125 billion and matures in 2023G.An elite group of financial and economic experts and specialists from around the world participated in the "Capital Markets & Credit Outlook" seminar, held on Tuesday, September 17

th, 2024, in Riyadh. The event was organized in partnership between the National Debt Management Center, the credit rating agency “Moody's", and AlTamayyuz Finance & Accounting Excellence Academy.

    -  The second tranche has a size of SAR 0.225 billion and matures in 2025G.

    -  The third tranche has a size of SAR 1.500 billion and matures in 2028G

The seminar addressed topics aimed at deepening the understanding of credit ratings and Moody's methodologies in its credit assessments, along with the impact of local and regional economic developments on the future credit outlook for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. It also explored the prospects for the financial sector and debt capital markets in Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, including sovereign debt and green Sukuk issuances.
