An elite group of financial and economic experts and specialists from around the world participated in the "Capital Markets & Credit Outlook" seminar, held on Tuesday, September 17
The Sukuk issuance was divided into five tranches as follows:
th- The first tranche has a size of SAR 700 Mn (Seven hundred million Saudi Riyals) maturing in (2027)
- The second tranche has a size of SAR 1.375 Bn (One billion three hundred and seventy-five million Saudi Riyals) maturing in (2029)
- The third tranche has a size of SAR 180 Mn (One hundred eighty million Saudi Riyals) maturing in (2032)The Ministry of Finance announces that it has closed the May 2020 issuance under the Saudi Arabian Government SAR-denominated Sukuk Program. The issuance size was set at SAR 5.755 billion.
- The fourth tranche has a size of SAR 197 Mn (One hundred and ninety-seven million Saudi Riyals) maturing in (2036)
- The fifth tranche has a size of SAR 3.380 Bn (Three billion three-hundred and eighty million Saudi Riyals) maturing in (2039)
The seminar addressed topics aimed at deepening the understanding of credit ratings and Moody's methodologies in its credit assessments, along with the impact of local and regional economic developments on the future credit outlook for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. It also explored the prospects for the financial sector and debt capital markets in Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, including sovereign debt and green Sukuk issuances.
